Ingredients For My Success..x

Posted by waheeda in personal developmentmotivational

Helloowww again you,

It's update time..... so i'm sitting in a cafe at the vibrant Musgrave shopping centre in Durban and people watching while I get some work done..... if you can call this and meeting with possibility driven friends all day in a cafe work, I mean seriously guys n gals.... does lifestyle get any better than this?

What are you doing today? I was there, or at least in my version of where you are. Life was fast, automatic, predictable and honestly, it was a "one day I will" life.

So what additional things did you DO TODAY to improve tomorrow, what are you going TO DO TODAY to improve tomorrow?

I want to ask you this....... if it took you 3 years to take your part time business a point where it replaced your current full time income(whatever that is)... would it have been worth it?

What if it took 5 or even 10 years?

What if it took less..... imagine that day came where you were FINALLY FREE.

Free to CHOOSE every minute of every day what YOU would like to DO, who YOU would like to BE?

I want you to learn to dream so big that no disempowering thoughts, feelings, emotions could put out your fire and passion for FREEDOM.

You see, the point is that it really does not matter how long it takes, it is always worth it. I started out 15 years ago and made NOTHING for 2 years, could I have given up, thrown the towel in, said "this does not work", "I'm not good at this or cut out for it" blah blah blah.

Ingredients for my success:

1 Great mentors and Peer group/ winning support structure

2 Raw passion, Desire and a FIRE to succeed in life

3 A zest for learning with a faith in the chosen system/ vehicle

which was based on my personal Values and my Purpose of Making a Positive Difference.

Go for it..... Make TODAY count, it's NEVER too late.

A smile, a look, a call or passing conversation with a stranger can lead to great places.

Friday we arrived for our Durban Dream Trip, welcomed with cocktails, we all settled in and had dinner together in the evening(68 of us).

Every room was Sea Views of the great Indian Ocean with crashing waves at the shore yet an unshakable stillness on the horizon.

Saturday was just an absolute blast with the skies a perfect blue and the sun shining upon us in all its glory.

Hat off to Preggie and his core unit of leaders for making this trip exceptionally special. Thank you my friend, you are an absolute inspiration to me and many.

After breakfast 18 of us gathered by the beach for a couple of hours of Volley ball..... such a fun sport that I have not played for decades.

We then had light lunch before heading back outdoors for cricket which I had not played for more decades.

Then there was the...... wait for it, this will really take some of you back in time....... Tug of war, heheheheee we had so much fun it was surreal. People falling all over the place and being kids again.... more decades ago.

As if that was not a plate full, Preggie took it to a whole new level with  game that ended up with the male the leaders eventually dressing in Drag. David Won by as long shot, i mean he was just a natural but what surprised me was that I took 2nd place winning "1st Princess" with Logan taking 2nd Princess. Soojay and Jeff were close behind us....... this must have been a lifetime ago, the last time I remember this was when my family dressed me up when I was about 5, lol.

We ended the evening with the most wonderful christmas dinner, formal dress with people looking pretty and gorgeous. Lots of recognition for the difference people have made and then we ate to our hearts content and then we danced and danced and danced the night away.

Sunday we were all sorry to leave the hotel but also very excited about the next family holiday.

So you get it right...... FREEDON is WORTH fighting for, dying for making sacrifices for..... once you have it you will never look back and ANYONE, i mean absolutely ANYONE can attain it.

I will always be honest with you.... the road can be bumpy, rough and even down right shitty at time, which is why it IS THE ROAD LESS TRAVELLED.

Life is about choices my friends, you take the path the masses tread and get their results or choose a different path that few travel, a path where all the riches are.
